Guy O. Kornblum is a highly experienced and accomplished trial and appellate lawyer who has been a "student" of his profession his entire career.  He has given over 400 presentations in 35 states and in several foreign countries, including 20 times to the American Bar Association Annual Meeting and several to the American Association of Justice (“AAJ,” former Association of Trial Lawyers of America or “ATLA”).  He has served as an Assistant Dean and Professor at Hastings College of the Law, and developed programs for teaching law students and lawyers about the trial and appellate process.  He also has lectured to legal and insurance professional groups on various areas of insurance law and professional liability.

Having served as an expert witness in a dozen cases, and given depositions and trial testimony, Mr. Kornblum is also available as an expert to assist in evaluating claims made in litigated matters involving legal professional liability and insurance claims handling.  His testimony is United States Fire Ins. Co. v. Button Transportation, Inc. was relied on heavily by a California Court of Appeal in evaluating an insurance bad faith claim against the insurer in that case. Click here for a copy of the opinion.
