MEDIATION
STRATEGY & ADVOCACY CONSULTING
Mr. Kornblum, a highly regarded negotiator, has been
asked by other counsel to assist them in developing a strategy for mediating
their client’s cases, and assisting in the mediation itself. As
the author of “Negotiating and Settling
Tort Cases” (Thomson
West/American Association for Justice, 2007) and a well known lecturer
on the topic of “Mediation Advocacy,” Mr. Kornblum provides
this assistance to other firms and lawyers for a fee that is based on
the type of case and assistance requested.
Mr. Kornblum has been lead
counsel in hundreds of mediations. He has been instrumental in developing
strategies for his clients that maximize the potential for resolution
in this type of structured negotiation. He understands the dynamics of
the process, and is known for his thorough and creative preparation mediations.
His work has been praised by mediators and clients, and other lawyers
who have worked with Mr. Kornblum in preparing for mediation and participating
in the process. He also was one of five (all the others were noted mediators)
invited by the Recorder, the San Francisco
legal newspaper, to participate in a panel on “Mediation and Arbitration” which
will be published this Spring in a special supplement to the newspaper.
The text of this program and an MP3 audio recording will be posted later
this year on this website. Now he is offering this service as as a consultant
to other firms and lawyers who wish to take advantage of Mr. Kornblum’s
knowledge, experience and creativity.
